Diablo 3 Real Money Auction House (RMAH)

rmha 1

If anyone here is like me with Diablo 3 then you will have played around with the Real Money House Auction (RMAH) a bit. I have seen many claims all over the internet on how you can make all this extra money selling items on it, but I don’t see this actually happening yet because there are way too many people trying to do the same thing. Yes, you can make some extra money but don’t go quitting your day job for it. Since the RMAH has gone live, I have made about $15 from it. This is after Blizzard takes their $1 per transaction and 15% gets dedicated to transfer it to PayPal.

That being said, that is still $15 more than I would have without it. You will see some people in there trying to sell legendary items for $250 bucks a piece but if you search more you can buy that same item for a couple bucks making it difficult to make any money, but as you can see from the screenshot below some people are selling items at that price. My hope is that I will be able to make the $60 that I spent on the game back, if I can do this then I would have gotten hours of entertainment for free. Let’s face it I would still be playing the game even if the RMHA didn’t exist.

Diablo 3 sales

I am still waiting to be able to sell gold and bulk items but I have no idea when we will actually be able to do this or how much can be made from it. Another problem that comes up, at least for me, is I get bored playing the game for extended periods of time which limits how many items I can actually get to sell. Right now that is not a problem because I have about 100 rare and 1 legendary items left to sell at this point, but I a lot of these items were saved on my way to level 60. After playing Diablo 3 for more than 2-3 hours at a time an almost want to switch over to playing some Finnish PartyPoker or something similar online.

Hello everyone my name is Robert, I have been in the IT industry for a little over six years now. I currently have a BSIT/NTC degree from the University of Phoenix, and I am currently pursuing a MIS degree. So far in my career I have held many different positions – from a Help Desk Analysis to a Network Engineer for the DoD. I am also A+, CCNA, and CCNA-V certified. During my free time I love to play video games, mostly on the PC but I also have a PS3 and Xbox 360. I am not the most hardcore gamer out there but I still love to playing games and helping other people out.
